Does fibromyalgia affect travel insurance?

This type of insurance covers you for medical emergencies, even those related to COVID-19, which is vital to prevent unexpected medical bills and give you the support you need if you have any medical problems while you are away. Travel insurance for fibromyalgia: Single trip or annual multi-trip policy
You can take out travel insurance with fibromyalgia for a single trip or annual multi-trip policy. Your choice will depend on your travel plans over the next year. If you’ve several holidays planned then an annual multi-trip fibromyalgia travel insurance policy may be your best option. If you only have one holiday planned, a single trip policy will probably suit you. However, please note that with an annual multi-trip policy the length of your trip may depend on your age.
If you’re aged 71 or over and travelling to the USA, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean, your trip length is limited to 35 days, and you won’t be able to extend this. If you’re under 71 or travelling elsewhere, your policy may allow trips of up to 45 days, with the option to extend to 50 or 55 days, depending on the cover level you choose. At the end of the quote process, you’ll be shown a selection of policies tailored to your needs, all in one place.
